There is a great diversity of marine life along the West Pilbara Coast, with many migrating species located in and around the Dampier Archipelago. Turtle nesting and migrating whales can often be sighted across Dampier’s many islands with many of the islands forming established conservation zones to protect our wildlife.
Only a hop skip and a jump from Karratha; Cleaverville, the Point Samson Peninsula and Cossack also boast fantastic opportunities to see bottlenose dolphins, dugongs, brain and fan coral, sea snakes and much more.
